Adjacency matrices can be used to model social networks, travel between cities, and spread of disease. We will begin by looking at how cities are connected by airports. This will allow us to compute the minimum number of stops to go from one city to the next. We will also take a look at powers of matrices and see how this is connected to adjacency matrices as well. Several examples will be covered during this session.
