Implementing AST Corporation's Database Management Services for Commercial Sector Clients
Summary
AST Corporation involves the information technology, consulting, and software industries. I worked as an intern with my mentor in the department of AST Corporation responsible for the planning, development, and delivery of database management services to commercial sector clients to support their business functions.Throughout the duration of my internship, AST Corporation was implementing database management products to support their clients’ business planning, forecasting, and consolidations. There was an opportunity to implement autonomous data extraction from the clients’ source systems in different locations to a centralized system for improved business analytics.Each day during my internship, I worked with mentor at AST Corporation to extract, transform, and load data from their clients’ source systems toa centralized system for planning, consolidations, and business analytics. My project benefitted AST Corporation by improving its commercial sector clients’ business analytics through sourcing qualitative business data from all their various source systems.
