Over the course of the summer, I interned for Family First Physicians and through the work I performed, I was able to research the impact of web design on content marketing. Family First Physicians is a private practice focused on women’s and children’s healthcare. The owner, Dr. Karen Federici, has been my mentor for this internship and has been guiding me through aspects of her business and the industry it is a part of. With this internship I worked on revamping Dr. Federici’s personal website, which she uses to market programs such as A Healthier You or Baby Foodie, both of which aim to promote better lifestyle choices for families. Using proper web design principles, I used the platform Kajabi to update the website and have it become more accessible and appealing to users. While creating the website, I researched different web design principles and the impact they have on users, specifically the importance of specific aspects.
