Description
The goal of this session will be to demonstrate the use of tested IMSA pedagogic practice in engaging students in debate over the potential for policy engagement and change. This will specifically speak to the new emphasis on the UN-SDGs, particularly Peace, Justice and strong institutions, and the ability to have students see the policy preferences and methods of a diverse array of states and non-state actors. The session will receive the necessary materials to participate in a specific UN environmental issue as a "model" they can take away in a ready to use format. All materials will be available.
