Abstract

To better achieve the fourth United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UN SDG), quality education, this study examines the varying demonstration and explanation of teaching methods. To meet this goal, this study asks 10 to 13 year olds if math, science, or arts are their favorite subject. They recorded their answer along with which teaching style they experienced. They analyzed which teaching style was most effective in each of the subjects, which can help to make a conclusion on what method of teaching is best during different types of learning subjects, as well as notice trends throughout different age groups on their preference of learning. This research can better understand how to effectively provide inclusive and high-quality education for all. With the findings of this study, students can achieve higher levels of academic success, as teachers are able to adapt to a learner’s needs.
