Abstract
ClockWorks Time Management is an innovative app designed to assist IMSA students with more efficient time management. The app uses student data to project the amount of time individual assignments will take, helping students plan and prioritize their workload. Oftentimes a root cause of procrastination is a lack of cognizance toward the total amount of time certain assignments take, and ClockWorks aims to reduce this ambiguity within the IMSA student population.
ClockWorks Time Management provides a user-friendly interface that allows students to input their assignments and due dates, and then analyzes student performance data specific to the course in order to calculate an estimated time for completion based on the complexity of the task and past time-loads when completing similar assignments. The app relies on data analysis techniques to predict the necessary time for each task. This helps students avoid underestimating or overestimating the time required to complete their assignments while also allowing for the proper allocation of time during the day to complete assignments. ClockWorks Time Management is an essential tool for IMSA students seeking to balance academic success with their other commitments.
