Description

WordPress is web software that you can use to create a website or blog. It is easy to use and free. You do not need to have prior experience with WordPress or HTML to participate. Participants in this introductory session will learn how WordPress facilitates the process of curriculum mapping and makes it easy to share your curriculum and activities with parents, students, and other educators. We will also discuss how to build a simple, basic website. Using a template that we will set up for you, you will learn how to: 1) choose a design/theme, 2) name your site, 3) set up your header, 4) insert a photo, and 5) add text to a page.
