Have you ever observed an activity or demonstration done by another science instructor that you'd love to try in your classroom, yet you don’t have easy access to the materials or a lab facility? Implementing a data driven inquiry activity using easily accessible "everyday" items is possible! Inquiry-based science fosters instruction that guides students to be actively involved in formulating questions, making claims based on evidence and drawing conclusions through class discussions. Practical activities that are well-fitted for this teaching approach will be shared through the use of demonstrations and hands-on activities to promote student curiosity in science.
