Description
The National Veterans Art Museum is dedicated to sharing greater understanding of the impact of war with a focus on Vietnam through the collection, preservation and exhibition of art inspired by combat and created by veterans. NVAM Education is dedicated to creating meaningful and transformative learning experiences for youth, educators and museum patrons. We promote connected learning through fine arts, civics, and youth facing interactive programming rooted in the exploration of personal narratives and global citizenship. "Museum in a Box" presents NVAM educational resources to support educators at all teaching levels to connect students with the veteran experience in art.
