Abstract

Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy:

  • Founded in 1985 by the Illinois General Assembly, IMSA is a public residential educational program for students talented and interested in mathematics and science. Admission is competitive.
  • IMSA serves 640 students in grades 10 thru 12 in an educational laboratory setting.
  • As part of the overall academic experience, IMSA requires all students to reside on campus.*
