Description
Breast cancer, the most prevalent type of cancer in women, is usually detected with a lump in breast tissue or with a mammogram. Since a large portion of the cells undergo the epithelial- mesenchymal transition, breast cancer is prone to metastasize. The HER2 gene can also trigger seed metastasis while circulating tumor cells accelerate tumor growth.
