Summary
In the Business Context portion, the general description of the industry and organization are detailed. I interned for the Illinois Association for Gifted Children (IAGC), a nonprofit organization that works in the field of education, helping to promote the development of gifted and talented children across Illinois.
In the Business Project Description section, the work I contributed to IAGC is exhibited.During this internship, I largely partook in the marketing aspects for IAGC. I mainly worked with improving the IAGC website to increase organization and visual enhancement allowing for easier accessibility for users. The Exhibits portion consists of visuals from my work throughout this internship.
To further develop my understanding of this industry, the Business Project Research section consists of research conducted. This research is for the purpose of better understanding how my work contributes to the Illinois Association for Gifted Children as well as what role they play in a larger context.
The following portion, Business Project Key Learning and Recommendations,includes my key takeaways from this internship experience and my recommendations for the organization I worked with.
The Literature Review contains a reference list of all the resources and a description of those resources in which I've utilized throughout this internship.
The final section is the appendices, containing my time committed to working for this internship and an overview of the work I completed.
