2022 Intern Reports
Description
This report details my time with and the usage of the program Ag-Invest. The program was developed using a variety of technologies through the development team of the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office. During my time with the Treasurer’s Office, I served as an intern in the Information Technology department and participated in the development of Ag-Invest. My involvement within the project included many sessions of shadowing with the entire development team in which I was able to understand the many different ways in which developers went about solving tasks. The Ag-Invest program allows for banks to request loans from the State of Illinois on behalf of farmers to help with agricultural improvement in the state.
