Abstract

The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) was established by the Illinois legislature in 1985. It ls a three year residential program serving students gifted in mathematics and science. The Academy admits students who have completed the academic equivalent of the ninth grade and offers a program of secondary and post-secondary course work.
