Description
The concept of function transformation can provide a basis for the study of many specific types of functions and their graphs. We’ll explore several transformations, as well as how to treat several transformations within the same function from the graphic, analytic and verbal perspectives, using graphing calculators and computers. Finally, we will examine how this approach can facilitate and heighten students’ understanding of the graphs of transformed trigonometric functions.
