Description
Learn three hands-on activities for sharing with your students in grades 4-5. Students will imagine fictional animals with the appropriate structures to function in a given environment and create paper models of their animals. Then they will engage in a paleontology simulation, examining ever deeper layers of clay, looking for patterns to determine the natural history of a randomly generated landscape. Finally, they will model the experience of gravity near the surface of the Earth.
