Description
The rise of generative artificial intelligence has generated excitement, fear, and more than its share of hype and hysteria. This session will discuss, as simply as possible, the basic principles of large language models. The hope is that this will dispel some of the aura of mysticism around AI and allow people to consider carefully how it can be useful as a tool—and when it can’t.
