Abstract
Blabl is an app that helps kids practice their speech through stories that are child-oriented and fun as they move through levels and maps in the game. The app also has an online dashboard that allows parents and speech language pathologists (SLP’s) to monitor and stay informed with their child’s performance. Building upon previous market research and tasks, this project’s goal was to create new content for the app. One of the most requested features requested by clients in previous pilot programs was where SLP’s can focus on the “Late Eights'' sounds with their patients. By creating this feature, our app will be more appealing for more users and help us increase our customer base. Another goal was to identify specific people who work with our target audience of young children and would also want to use our app. We needed to get our app into the hands of speech language pathologists, whether they be in schools or private clinics, through free pilot programs and
cold-calling. This way, we can get our product into the hands of more parents and SLP’s, who would be able to recommend it to other people and help the app further expand its customer base.
