Abstract

Insulytics is a SaaS (software as a service) analytics company that builds analytical solutions for property and casualty insurance companies in the commercial space, helping them transform raw submissions, policies, claims, and financial data into clear, actionable insights. This project focuses on developing a conversational AI assistant embedded within these dashboards, allowing users to ask questions about their data in plain language and receive relevant visual answers automatically. The internship involved researching AI integration approaches while focusing on data security and cost, experimenting with sample dashboards, and learning industry tools and practices, culminating in a clear plan for AI integration within the dashboard environment. A parallel and ongoing technical part of the internship focuses on creating a client-facing claims operations dashboard and its corresponding Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) library. This project has enhanced Insulytics’ dashboard offerings by working to implement a conversational AI feature, while also directly supporting the company through the development of a client-facing dashboard and its accompanying DAX library. Both efforts directly strengthen Insulytics' ability to deliver more powerful and efficient analytics solutions to their clients
