Abstract
As global health is influenced by a multitude of factors, water seems to be a pressing point of focus that affects individuals universally. Our project goal is to work alongside Global Sustainable Development Goal 6 - Clean Water in Sanitation. This goal works to provide clean water and sanitation to all countries around the world that do not have this benefit in the 21st Century. Contaminants in water have been a lasting issue and have a large impact on the health of those drinking it. These lifelong detriments of poor water quality affect a spectrum of facets within a country's population from educationally to socioeconomically. We collected data about health and water around the world to identify root illnesses causing health impairment and deaths today. After identifying problems, we suggested solutions so that more people can have access to clean drinking water. The purpose of our project is to spread awareness of the dangers and detriments of poor water being provided to the citizens of the world. By investigating these phenomena we hope to bring water equality to the people of the world.
