The Teen Vaping Crisis

In today’s society, teenagers are being exposed to vaping, leading to an exponential increase in the number of teenagers addicted to nicotine. While there are certain measures being taken, such as requiring vaping companies to print warnings on their packaging, the number of teenagers purchasing vapes continues to increase. Thus, our project focuses on pushing for “transparent packaging” or simple packaging on vapes. In other words, we want to advocate for packaging that accurately represents the dangers of vapes. For example, cigarette companies are required to include graphic pictures of the damage cigarettes cause. The same should be done for vapes, as they are equally as dangerous and addictive.
