Abstract
My group and I decided to speak upon the second USNDG goal of Zero hunger. We are directing our focus on Nigeria, Africa. We are doing multiple statistical tests, a presentation, and an essay that I, myself, have done based on Africa as a whole. We are focused on this because we wanted to bring awareness to an issue that has barely changed. We are going to provide how we as a community can help aid in solving this problem and providing facts and numbers based on recent studies in 2019-2020. As being a part of such a diverse community, we realized how important this issue is and how long it has been going on. As people belonging to the same Earth as others suffering from hunger, there should be no reason why we cannot make any change whatsoever. This change does not have to be a lot, it can be participating in a food shelter for Africa such as Feed My Starving Children. By bringing awareness to the IMSA community, we wish for this issue to be spread across Aurora and soon throughout the different parts of Illinois. This topic touches all of our hearts and we desire to talk about it on the 28th of April.
