Abstract
Year after year, the large majority of students and 90% of parents in the United States have agreed that sufficient early career education needs to be presented in all schools. However, out of the annual 3.7 million high school graduates in the United States, only 44% have a definitive career goal. This is primarily due to the fact that current early career education is rare, as well as unaffordable to many families. Vision is a recurring six-week-long program designed for students enrolled in grades 7-9 to find their true passion. Each week, students are presented with a new career field through a series of interactive activities, such as hands-on projects and a presentation from experts in the field. This program is inclusive to all students regardless of their current career knowledge and presents an effective, accessible, and much more affordable, early career education opportunity for all.
