Abstract
For our SLX project, we plan to create a website based on a journal or news article with general information and an explanation of the trends of the effect of geography vs. levels of education. We will focus on the impact of geography on the group of education people have [we will base it on the relationship between geography and the average high school graduation rate (this will be further divided into several categories as explained later]. Specifically, we have narrowed possible topics down to high school graduation rates, youth and adult literacy rates, school enrollment rates, out-of-school/completion rates, and the rate of school to jail pipeline situations. Based on whatever data we can find and access, we will base our project on it. If enough information is not found, we will create a website that incorporates more than one of the previously mentioned aspects. We will create a graph for each part and small captions with approximately 4-5 sentences. Our overall goal is to display the main disparities in education levels caused by different geographical regions.
