Abstract

The biggest issue that we identified on campus was a difficulty with setting up plans on campus. One of the pain points we identified was that its hard to get imsa students to meet up, and group chats are incredibly confusing because they can get flooded. Our target audience is imsa students, for obvious reasons. Our solution is an app that students can use to schedule study sessions online. The app would give both students and teachers the option to make sessions, with a special tab being made for the teacher sessions. The app would have a feature that would connect it to group chats through a bot, allowing messages to be automatically sent to class specific group chats, or to students if they sign up. Through our app we would be able to alleviate the stress that students feel by making it more accessible to join study sessions, hopefully raising the average grades of the school.
