Abstract

In the United States, students are experiencing implicit bias due to their race and ethnicity. This contributes to the stubborn disparities in education for students. It reduces student motivation and increases their odds of dropping out of school. This becomes inequitable for students all over the country due to them being limited and being oppressed in their districts. Our solution is creating an organization that will allow disadvantaged students to provide their peers and communities with free tutoring services. Funding for this organization can be used to purchase educational textbooks and other resources necessary for student learning. All students should be able to have equal access and equal opportunities at success, and our organization, the Coalition of Students for Educational Equality, can help to solve this problem. Through advocacy we strive to reunite students and work together to pass bills in order to aid students of marginalized communities all over the country.
