Abstract
Non-human animals, although not considered as complex as humans, are still sentient beings who deserve to be treated with respect and care. Some situations include debarking, declawing, dog fighting, and animal experimentation. In the matter of experimentation and inhumane handling of animals, many people are concerningly content with living things of all sizes being used as disposable objects for products of human benefit. Some are completely unaware it is occurring. To spread awareness, animal rights groups should gain additional funding to fight their cause in densely populated areas, at large events, and in advertising. They can receive this funding through sponsors, applying for grants from private foundations, or federal spending. Our website aims to get public support to create a bill. This bill will ensure that any organization found violating basic animal rights, such as animal testing in labs, breeding and killing animals solely for resources, selective breeding conducted for any purpose other than the species' welfare, etc., will be fined and possibly face time in prison contingent upon their offense(s).
