Description
Computer science education in the United States is at a critical juncture. The number of students pursuing computer science as a career choice or course of study has dropped precipitously at all levels. In addition, the lack of national curriculum standards and consistent and rational teacher certification requirements continue to hamper our ability to ensure that our students are adequately prepared to compete in this increasingly technological world (CSTA). We, at IMSA, have taken some steps to remain competitive in this discipline and you can too! Together let us explore some ways to do this in your school.
