More than ever before, educators must delicately balance the teaching of historical content and the skills assessed on standardized tests to meet state and district goals. Discover ways to skillfully integrate the College Readiness Standard skills of Main Idea, Significant Details, Cause/Effect, Compare/Contrast, and Inference into existing lessons to facilitate your students' mastery of content and skill in a time efficient manner. All participants will receive Human Geography, World History, and U S History handouts.
