Teachers will explore math connections AND experience hands-on activities that can help students develop math skills as well as connect mathematical concepts to science, social studies, engineering, art, and everyday play involving: trees, catapults, candy, balls, bicycles, flags, forts, helicopters, rockets, etc. Math concepts include: counting, addition/subtraction/multiplication/division, polygons, circles, 3D shapes, nets, geometric analysis, data collecting/making graphs, perimeter, area, volume, diameter, fractions, angles, decimals, measurement, etc.
