We will look at how we approach scientific texts from evaluation of reliability, to annotating text; looking for both new understanding and connection to background knowledge, to being curious, seeking answers through asking questions and beyond! *OPTIONAL - Participants may bring a book appropriate for young readers that fits their curriculum and may be incorporated into a disciplinary literacy lesson or unit*
