Abstract
Gerrymandering, the redistricting of political districts in order to favor the authoring party, is an issue to democracy and stability of this government. We propose a solution to this problem: a jury formed from politicians selected by the state congress to form a jury with the sole purpose of redistricting. The jurors would be approved by both major parties of the legislature. This policy does have its issues, however, it is better than the current system in 27 states where there are no checks or BALAnces, but instead, the people who would benefit from the redistricting are the ones to choose the districts. This idea will keep the corrupt hands of politicians off of the redistricting by appointing a, hopefully, bipartisan redistricting jury.
