Abstract

There are significant differences in education around the world, ranging from quality to access to overall effectiveness. Most people have a superficial understanding of this problem. They know that the majority of the worst education systems are found in poor, developing, third world countries. They hear that kids in these countries not only get less education, but one of poorer quality. They see organizations asking for money to help these kids in need. However, people living in the United States of America don’t face an education system nearly as inadequate as those in the poorest countries in the world. For this reason, the majority of the US’ population does not truly understand the extent of this problem, what causes it, or how it will impact everyone’s future. The two articles included in this website provide a deeper insight into the problems occurring in these countries. The comparison between the education of children in first and third world countries details how significant of a problem this is. The analysis of the causes shows what can be done to help this problem. This website was created to show the true extent of the educational disparities occurring in our world.
