Abstract
As a proactive method of reducing emergencies and the damage caused by them, the benefits of fire prevention are numerous and far-reaching. In recognition of these benefits, many legal procedures have been put in place to ensure the safety of every community. However, there are around 172,100 fires per year that are started as a result of carelessness in the kitchen. Because fires are highly damaging not only in terms of property, but also safety, we strive to create a product called MICROLARM to reduce the chances of careless kitchen fires. Our product will not only notify residents of the fire, but will also cut the electricity of appliances to prevent further damage. We believe that MICROLARM will be a household product that will largely reduce emergencies and destruction caused by kitchen fires in order to keep everyone a little safer.
