Abstract
United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 14 is about preserving the quality of the oceans. This includes protecting spaces in the oceans by preventing waste from getting to them and preserving biodiversity. This goes hand-in-hand with keeping global warming from getting out of control, as temperature anomalies can cause damage to many ecosystems. This project aims to analyze data on protected marine areas and changes in ocean temperature and pH, and predict how it will affect wildlife. Solutions to this could include protecting marine areas and reducing carbon emissions to prevent temperature and pH changes. Pollution in the ocean does affect marine life, so it is important to understand how much people are doing and how the ocean is changing to create better solutions. Data was found using online sources such as statista.org, data.world, and data.gov.
