Abstract
Market dependence on agricultural commodities has left the Republic of Guinea economically crippled, with infrastructure for the rural farmers of the nation becoming increasingly sparse. Because of unstable local government management, minimal access to financial aid, and a lack of quality modes of transportation, Guinea loses enormous amounts of their agricultural yield, as it often expires during transport. This struggle to keep crops in a sellable condition, results in diminishing returns in revenue and gradually destabilizes their economy. Our solution aims to mitigate these problems at the source, providing access to cold storage freezers for rural farmers, allowing for an increased market yield of agricultural products. Major organizations already provide general equipment for farming to these areas, so by contracting these companies, we seek to supply a steady and equally dispersed source of freezers/cold storage to the citizen farmers of Guinea. By taking this step towards infrastructural developments, the economy of Guinea would have a chance to slowly rebuild itself on this agricultural foundation, leaving room for further technological and infrastructural improvements in the region.
