Abstract
With gender prevalent issues overtaking the world, even a small action can be of great effect. Knowing the power that the internet and social media can have on an issue, we plan on making social media forums to educate people of the many many issues such as gender bias in education and the gender pay gap. We feel that educating even one person can make a world of a difference. In fact, we plan on choosing a gender-specific issue and focusing on it for a month at a time to give the people a focused approach to understand and take action on an issue. To make this forum more effective, we feel that it is needed on multiple social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Starting off our first post, we are planning on focusing on the gender pay gap as women make only about 80% of what men make in this day and age.
