Abstract
Large quantities of water are used worldwide, but some places have more access to clean water than others. Whether or not a particular region has access to clean water affects the people there quite greatly. This study looks into the availability of clean water to different regions around the world, as well as how this access or lack thereof affects different communities. This study also examines the common characteristics between regions with limited access to clean water. In collecting data from numerous parts of the world, the picture is made much wider, allowing a thorough understanding of the size of this problem. The importance of this type of study is to bring awareness to the availability of clean water around the world, as well as to invoke a call to action for people to get involved and eradicate the problem of lack of clean water in the parts of the world that need it most.
