Abstract

Conserve is a water preservation and quality measuring device that can be easily added or screwed on to shower-heads, sinks faucets, and numerous other sources of water. It will display the amount of gallons used in a day/run and the alkalinity of the water that is being used. This will all be displayed through a screen extrusion, a part of our product, showing the output of the two data fields being collected. This product will be at a fairly reasonable price and will not require batteries or external electricity sources, since it is powered by hydroelectricity. Additionally, in the future, the physical aspect of the product could connect to an app, so one could track their historical trends in water quality and usage. Most importantly, this product gives the consumer valuable data on how much water they are using during every stream of water, allowing them to potentially cut down on water usage.
