Abstract
We will be presenting an HTML website that will present possible solutions for how to increase the number of women working in a STEM field that can be implemented in real-life situations and places, including IMSA. One new idea our project is hoping to implement is a grant funded by that will assist college tuition payments for girls going into STEM fields. The issue we are solving is that despite significant advancements in gender equality, there has been continued underrepresentation of women in STEM fields, underscoring a critical gap in leveraging diverse talents and perspectives essential for innovation and economic growth. Some solutions that we will be proposing include mentorship programs, increased scholarship and funding opportunities for women, more STEM-focused programs in school, and decreased workplace discrimination through better parental leave policies and more flexible working conditions. We will be using data sets and graphs to support our solutions. We will use Wix to code an HTML website that will allow us to present this information in an organized and entertaining manner.
