Abstract
Low-income communities often do not have affordable access to formal wear, even when renting, which can cost anywhere from $140-$279. This is unaffordable for individuals who earn $13,590 to $54,360 per year or are around levels of poverty. Our solution is a website that connects used formal wear for rent with those in need at a much lower price, ranging around $50 or less. By partnering with charities, local businesses, donations, thrift shops, and dry cleaning businesses, we hope to reach our target audience and source and maintain second-hand formal clothing. We aim to make formal wear more affordable and give people the professional clothing they need for job interviews, business events, weddings, and more.
