Abstract
The lack of utilization of recycling technology is a major global issue, as it inhibits climate and clean production technologies. Recycling with Ryan is an online application that encourages users to recycle. It will utilize AI-generated conversation, mini-games and activities, and social media features to repeatedly engage users in recycling activities. It will use corporate/governmental partnerships, advertisement, and in-app purchases to be a sustainable business model, and the theoretical idea behind Recycling with Ryan can be applied to other global issues such as electricity usage with similar apps/extensions to the app.
