Abstract
Women in South Asia face a silent financial crisis. Despite working, saving, and managing household finances, millions of women store their savings in cash, leaving them completely exposed to inflation. In Pakistan alone, cumulative inflation over the last five years exceeded 100%, effectively halving the purchasing power of cash savings. With only 13% of Pakistani women holding formal financial accounts compared to 34% of men, the tools to fight this exist, but not for them. Our app bridges this gap by giving women in South Asia a simple, one-tap way to convert their local currency savings into USDC, a regulated US dollar-backed stable coin, through payment platforms they already use, like Easypaisa and UPI. By holding savings in a currency that doesn't lose value to local inflation, women can preserve what they earn. Built-in financial literacy modules explain stable coins, wallet safety, and conversion in plain language, removing the knowledge barrier that keeps most people away from digital finance.
