Personalization in the Wellness program is reflected in the students’ engagement in activities during class as well as written assessment about their strengths and areas needing improvement. Students use written work to show their ability to understand how all the dimensions of holistic wellness are ever changing and equally important for the development of the whole self. Holistic wellness consists of the following six dimensions; physical, social, emotional, environmental, spiritual, and intellectual. Topics such as nutrition, stress and sleep are also explored as major contributors to holistic wellness. During the sophomore Moving and Learning course student learning the fundamental concepts of evaluating, improving and reflecting on their personal wellness. Upon completion of this course students are required to take an elective course which allows them to continue to discover various ways to continue their personal growth in the dimensions of Wellness.
