What is a Read-In you ask? Great question! An event where members of the IMSA community get together to recognize and highlight literature from underrepresented authors and artists. You can share a poem or an excerpt from a reading.

2026 Black History month Read In
In recognition of Black History Month, please join the IRC for the African American Read-In featuring speakers Dr. Asif Wilson and Joshua Jackson, filmmakers of the Against the Current Documentary. You can watch the documentary trailer here.
The event will conclude with a discussion with the filmmakers in the IRC, facilitated by IMSA Students.
